Boil the pasta according to package directions. Drain. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a deep frying pan, add the garlic and saute for 2-3 mins until softened. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and green onion. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 mins. Mix the tuna and cooked pasta, heat through for 2-3 mins. Divide between 2 plates. Garnish with the basil leaves.
