Boil, steam or microwave beans until just tender, drain. Add beans to large bowl of iced water; drain well. Place in a large bowl. Heat the oil and garlic in a small skillet on low heat until the garlic just changes color. Add the pine nuts and stir until heated through. Drizzle the mixture over the beans. Season with salt and black pepper and toss gently. Transfer to a serving dish.
