1/4 tsp. cloves

Drain fruit cocktail; cream butter, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with 1/3 cup of cocktail syrup. Add cocktail and nuts. Drop by spoonful on greasy cookie sheet. Bake in 375° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
