preheat oven to 400 degrees (f). pour frozen strawberries into a baking dish, 9x9 or larger. defrost strawberries in the microwave. stir in sugar and cornstarch. bake for about 20 minutes. once the strawberry mixture is nice and bubbly, take it out and blend it in a blender, stand mixer with whisk attachment, or food processor until it all the strawberry pieces are broken up and mushy. let it cool, and store it in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. yum!
