Specifically, it is cultivated in the panchayaths of Edayur, Athavanad, Marakkara, Irimbiliyam, Kalpakanchery, and Valanchery within the Valanchery block, as well as Moorkanad and Kuruva panchayaths within the Angadippuram block.
