Abstract
Therefore, this systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to quantitatively assess the effects of Fe and Zn agronomic biofortification on grain yield and grain micronutrient concentration in cowpea and related grain legumes. Given the limited number of field studies available for cowpea, evidence from physiologically comparable legume species was incorporated to strengthen the quantitative synthesis and identify broader patterns relevant to nutrition-sensitive legume production systems.
