Abstract
The transition of the food processing sector from Industry 1.0 to Industry 5.0 represents a notable shift towards adopting integrated and multidisciplinary approaches that emphasise the well-being of humans, resilience, and sustainability of digital technology. Industry 4.0 focused on enhancing the profitability and efficiency of food processing via the use of digitalization and automation.
