Abstract
This research investigates the contribution of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education to the development of practical engineering approaches capable of supporting sustainable agriculture and improved food distribution systems. The study specifically examines how rail transport engineering can be applied as an effective tool for the movement of farm commodities within the Nigerian environment. Emphasis is placed on the potential of modern railway infrastructure to reduce losses after harvesting, lower logistics costs, and enhance national food availability.
