SELECTIVE IMPROVEMENT OF WINTER TRITICALE CULTURE

Abstract

Ukraine is one of the key players in the global agricultural production sector, with a deeply integrated share of 10 % and the ability to influence the formation of the global trading space. In the 2022/2023 marketing year (from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023), Ukraine exported 48.99 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. Recently, more and more attention has been paid to the cultivation of triticale as a young high-yielding grain crop and the possibilities of its use to meet the food needs of the ukrainian population.
