Abstract
In the context of the consequences of the russian federation’s armed aggression against our state, the activities of livestock farms determine the relevance of systematically monitoring mycotoxicological risks and improving the veterinary and sanitary measures complex. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of microscopic mold fungi, identify the species composition of epiphytic mycobiota, and evaluate the level of microbiological contamination in cereal feed intended for farm animals in specialized enterprises and farms in southern Ukraine. A total of 44 samples of forage grain (corn, wheat, barley, pea) were analyzed, of which only 38.6% met established sanitary and hygienic requirements, indicating an unsatisfactory sanitary condition of the feed base.
