Abstract
The increasing awareness amongst consumers regarding food safety, food quality, food safety, and health benefits are impelling researchers to look for ways to enhance food quality without compromising the product's nutritional value. Currently, approaches to minimizing the microbial hazards for ensuring food safety have severe drawbacks and inefficiencies. The severity and frequency of foodborne diseases as a result of food contamination has made it essential for research communities around the world to devise and execute advanced products for food safety.
