In a saucepan add blackberries and granulated sugar on low heat. Stir frequently and allow to cook together until fruit breaks down, then set aside to cool. In a mixing bowl add the softened butter, honey, nutmeg and vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer on low speed, cream everything together. Add the blackberry mixture (once cooled) and with a spatula, combine well. Place in an airtight container (pack it in) and refrigerate! You'll find many uses for this simple and easy butter. Enjoy!
