Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 33 x 23 x 5 cm pan. Cream together shortening, brown and white sugars, and eggs. Sift together the dry ingredients. Alternate adding dry ingredients with milk into the creamed mixture. Don't overmix. Bake for 35 minutes. Test with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean, it is done. Poke holes with a fork all over the top of the cooled cake. Mix the icing ingredients (I'm guessing on the measurements for the icing-I usually eyeball it). It should be pretty runny so that it goes into the cake. Dribble the mixture of confectionery sugar and water on top of the cake. Enjoy!
