Pop the popcorn. Put into a brown grocery bag. Mix together the brown sugar, oleo, syrup and butter-vanilla flavoring. Put the mixture in the microwave until it boils. Add the baking soda and stir. Microwave the mixture for another 2 minutes. Pour the mixture over the popped corn in the brown bag. Shake the bag. Microwave the brown bag with the popped corn and mixture for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Shake and let cool.
