Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook and drain your pasta according to the package instructions. Then drain it and set aside. In a saucepan, add in the contents of your canned peas. Bring to a boil, then drain off the liquid and set peas aside. In a skillet heat olive oil over medium heat. Then add in your onion and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes, then add in your tomato. Mix to combine, allowing tomato to heat through and for juices to run. Add in your drained pasta and peas, then sprinkle on your black pepper, salt, and chopped basil leaves. Toss well to combined. Transfer to serving bowls and enjoy!
