Preheat oven to 325°F. Ingredients are for 1 serving. Prepare 1 serving for each person. Peel the banana (s), cut into halves lengthwise, and place in a baking dish. Mix the melted butter, sugar, water, and lemon juice together; pour half of the mixture over the bananas and place in oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, using remaining mixture for basting. If bananas are not lightly browned, they may optionally be run under the broiler for a minute at this point. Serve topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate hot sauce, or as-is, while still warm from the oven.
