in a large pot over high heat bring the water to a boil. turn off the water and add the teabag, cover and steep for 5 minutes. rinse the mint. add the mint and the verbena leaves to the pot, cover and steep 5 more minutes. add the sugar and stir to combine, strain and serve. place a sprig of mint in each glass or cup and pour in the strained tea. *to serve chilled*. allow the tea to reach room temperature, then transfer the tea to a pitcher, cover and refrigerate until cold. this will prevent your tea from getting cloudy. serve in a tall glass with ice and a mint sprig for garnish.
